Born Dirty started as an apparel company and after Desiree started taking welding courses to learn how to weld in order to make herself clothing racks for tradeshows, she fell in love with the art of welding and has incorporated her skill for design into metal.
Born into the world of off-roading, Desiree Bates grew up riding a 3-wheeler and then gravitated toward two wheels when she began racing nearly 20 years ago. All of her racing career she has raced the number 666 but for the 2024 race season she will race 569 to represent the Local Union 569 that will be sponsoring her this season.
With a degree in graphic design and media arts, Desiree took her love of tools and decided to join the electrical union. Now as a recent graduate of the Electrical Training Center she is currently working at Morrow Meadows as a Journeyman Wireman
